Red Bull BC One Cypher Minneapolis

Hired by Antic Studios to provide interactive video, real-time camera effects, and lower thirds content creation for the Red Bull BC One Cypher Minneapolis - one of two regional qualifiers in the 2025 USA breaking competition season.

The event took place on March 29, 2025 at Royalston Square, a 20,000 sq ft immersive projection-mapped venue in Minneapolis's North Loop featuring 36 Luxedo PRO projectors. It was the first official public event at the newly opened space. Steven McCorry contributed Notch scenes, camera looks, and animations, and provided on-site production support - his involvement was instrumental in making it happen.

Using Notch VFX and Resolume, we delivered real-time interactive visuals and camera effects that responded to the energy of the competition, alongside broadcast-ready lower thirds for the 16 B-Boys and 8 B-Girls competing in knockout-style brackets. Winners advanced to the National Final in Denver.
