Noiserator

"A full procedural texture studio in the browser - node graphs, GPU shaders, and real-time 3D preview with zero installs."

Noiserator is a GPU-accelerated procedural texture generator built entirely for the browser. It features a node-based graph editor where users chain noise algorithms and post-processing effects into complex texture pipelines - all rendered in real time on the GPU via custom WebGL shaders.

The tool includes 24 noise algorithms (Perlin, Simplex, Worley, Reaction Diffusion, Trace Networks, and more), 25 post-processing FX (mirror, edge detect, gradient colorize, etc.), a real-time 3D preview environment with reflective spheres and geometry, and a built-in GLSL code editor for writing custom shader nodes. Textures can be exported as seamless tileable images for use in game engines, VJ software, and digital art pipelines.

Noiserator was built in collaboration with Glass Crane and The Void - two VJ artists who use the tool to generate real-time visual content for live performances and immersive installations.
