Texas Eclipse Festival
"A 60-foot dome dropped in the middle of the desert, running fulldome visuals for artists we've admired our whole careers."
Aether was brought on as visual production lead for the Multiversal Dome at the Texas Eclipse Festival - a 60-foot projection dome built for total-solar-eclipse weekend in April 2024 and programmed with works by Android Jones and Chroma.
Our scope ran from pre-event planning through on-site production: spec-ing the projector array and blending, calibrating the dome geometry, managing the artist content pipeline into fulldome masters, and operating shows across four festival nights as headline acts rotated through.
Texas Eclipse combined music, art, and a once-in-a-lifetime astronomical event, and the Multiversal Dome was one of the festival's flagship immersive spaces - a place where audiences could step out of the noise of a mainstage show and into a wrap-around visual environment.
